Why some people seem to think that every time the opening credits change (if that was the case, there would be roughly 9 seasons..) or new rangers come constitutes a new season is beyond me, but it isn't true. A very basic way to determine seasons is which Zords the PR use. Season 1, they use the Dinozords. I honestly don't know why they never mention Zyuranger (except on the ending credits of the lost pilot episode special, not that they associate it with MMPR or anything like that, and they call it "Zyu Rangers") but any Sentai site will tell you that MMPR is very obviously based on it. The only similarity MMPR has to Goranger is the use of "Color Ranger" for their title (Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, etc). Leave it to Saban to confuse the crap out of millions of fans.</I></div> <bR> <div> <B>MMPR is based on a TV show in Japan called "Zeorangers".</b></div> <div> <I>Heh. "Zeorangers" is a title used on certain Power Rangers Zeo VCDs to avoid copyright infringements.
